2010
In a defining moment of school identity, AISZ adopted the Bear as its official mascot, retiring the former Huskies name that had represented the school's athletic teams for years. The transition marked more than a rebranding - it signaled a renewed sense of community pride and shared purpose. The Bears have since become a beloved symbol of the school's spirit, resilience and belonging, uniting students, staff and alumni under one proud banner.

The 1st issue of The PawPrint, the school's official newsletter, was published in February 2013. Establishing a unified community voice, the publication became a celebrated platform for sharing achievements, stories, and the enduring spirit of the AISZ community.

2014
The Croatian Young Leaders (CYL) Scholarship Program was introduced, reflecting AISZ's deep commitment to community engagement and its belief in nurturing the next generation of Croatian leaders.

2016
AISZ proudly marked half a century of international education in Zagreb, celebrating 50 years of academic achievement, community, and global citizenship with alumni, families, faculty, and friends from around the world.

2017
Construction began on a state-of-the-art campus near Bundek Lake, embodying a bold vision for innovative, sustainable, and future-ready learning. The project was made possible through the extraordinary generosity of the City of Zagreb — which provided a 99-year land lease and funded the full architectural design — and the Republic of Croatia, whose support was instrumental in bringing the vision to life.

2018
AISZ opened its landmark Bundek campus, widely recognized as one of the most energy-efficient school buildings in Europe. The seamless transition to this modern facility redefined the school's physical and educational landscape.
