After School Programs

At AISZ, we believe that education goes beyond academic study.

Our activities & athletics program is designed to provide students with diverse opportunities for enrichment, skill development, and personal growth, extending their learning beyond the classroom. These activities are not just a complement to our curriculum - they are an integral part of our educational philosophy.

Whether it's through football, volleyball, basketball, cross country, or academic and creative pursuits like choir, Model United Nations (MUN), chess, pottery or dance, every activity encourages personal growth and helps students explore their interests, develop social skills, and the opportunity to model the values of the AISZ community:

We are honored to be the only school in Zagreb participating in the prestigious CEESA Activities & Athletics. CEESA (Central and Eastern European Schools Association) organizes a diverse range of sporting, academic, and cultural events for middle and high school students, fostering development across multiple domains.

Through its programs, CEESA strives to enhance each student’s growth academically, athletically, and artistically. Participation in these events provides our students with enriching opportunities to excel in their chosen fields while developing essential life skills such as teamwork, leadership, and cultural awareness.

One of the most remarkable aspects of the CEESA Sports and Activities program is its focus on maximizing cultural, social, and intercultural experiences. Each activity or competition is designed not just to showcase talent but also to build bridges among diverse communities at host venues, promoting global understanding and collaboration.

The Arts flourish at AISZ, offering students a vibrant and enriching environment to explore their creativity. Guided by a dedicated and talented faculty of trained teachers and professional artists, students are provided with a strong foundation in artistic skills. From drawing and painting to music, theater, and digital media, they are encouraged to develop their techniques while expressing their unique artistic visions.

Our campus serves as a hub for artistic expression, featuring numerous opportunities for students to showcase their talents. Regular performances, exhibitions, and presentations allow students to share their creativity with peers, families, and the broader community.
