As part of the PE curriculum, AISZ will be supporting the annual Terry Fox Run which will take place in Bundek Park on Sunday, September 25 from 14:00 - 18:00. The non-competitive run will start around 16:00. Families who wish to attend are encouraged to meet at the School at 15:00 to warm up and get a race number. Together we will make our way to Bundek for pre-race fun, then set off to show our support for this wonderful cause. T-shirts will be sold on the day of the BBQ for 75 kuna.
This is a lovely day out for a great cause. Families often bring small children in strollers, bikes, trikes, and their pets too.
Walkers, runners, joggers: Unite! Look for the bear flags and listen for some warm-up music! Trophies will be awarded for the following categories: Youngest, fastest for each division (lower, middle and high school) and finally, some contraband for the first parent across the line!
