Bridges Program

At AISZ, we believe every student is a story of possibility — and that a school community is made richer by the full spectrum of abilities, experiences, and perspectives within it. The Bridges Program is our dedicated intensive learning support program for Upper School students with complex or intensive learning needs, and it reflects our deepest commitment to inclusive, meaningful education.

Bridges is the result of a thorough, community-wide review of learning support practice, informed by researchers, students, teachers, and families. It provides a structured, individualised program focused on building the academic and life skills students need to live and learn independently after leaving AISZ. Bridges students are based in a supportive, self-contained classroom environment while also participating in mainstream courses where there is mutual benefit for all — because we know that inclusive schools are better schools for everyone.
