AISZ hosted the first-ever Fall Foto Festival, a vibrant celebration for families with children in Kindergarten, Grade 1, and Grade 2. This event, themed Through the Eyes of Children, was designed to showcase students' learning and creativity through an engaging blend of art, writing, and music. The result? A resounding success, with an incredible 94% of students attending, joined by enthusiastic family members, including parents, grandparents, extended family, and friends.
A Festival of Creativity and Perspective
The festival centered on the concept of perspective, explored through various disciplines. In art, students honed their photography skills, capturing unique viewpoints and expressing their creativity. In homeroom, they delved deeper, crafting thoughtful writings inspired by their artistic work. Meanwhile, music brought the community together, with students collaborating on a lively performance featuring singing and instrumental arrangements.
The evening featured galleries of student artwork and a captivating performance that brought their learning journey to life. It was a true celebration of how children view the world around them and express their understanding in meaningful, creative ways.
