AISZ continues to play a leading role in shaping student support and intervention strategies across international schools! This past week, Dr. Fahrney, Ms. Black, and Mr. Coman traveled to Nova International School, Skopje, to share AISZ’s Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) framework with over 40 educators from seven CEESA schools.
The workshop was more than just a presentation—it was a collaborative, interactive learning experience. Participants engaged in videos, personal stories, and current best practices from various schools, making the session both informative and inspiring. Attendees particularly enjoyed the "Speed Dating" protocol, structured discussions, and a mixer that encouraged cross-school learning.
Feedback from participants was overwhelmingly positive:
💬 "The presenters balanced their session so well—with engaging activities, real-life examples, and practical strategies."
💬 "The 'mixer' was great! It allowed us to learn from other schools present at the training."
💬 "The workshop was incredibly helpful and provided great insight into what we can do moving forward at our school."
💬 "AISZ is doing great work, and we appreciate how they share their expertise and resources with other CEESA schools!"
One of the highlights was the split sessions for Lower and Upper Secondary School, ensuring that discussions were relevant and directly applicable to each level. This structure allowed educators to deep dive into student support strategies tailored to their specific contexts.
At AISZ, we believe that no school is an island and that professional learning should be continuous and shared. Our commitment to collaboration and excellence drives us to support students not only within our own community but across the CEESA network.
To all our fellow CEESA educators: We loved our time in Skopje learning with you all! Until next time! 👏🎓✨
