At AISZ, sustainability and community responsibility are not aspirations for the future — they are part of who we are right now. Our A+ energy-rated campus produces zero CO₂ emissions and generates power back to the Zagreb electrical grid. Our Outdoor Education program builds genuine environmental connection in every student from Pre-K to Grade 12. And our community gave back to the city it calls home with 60 Acts of Kindness — one for each year of our history — as part of our 60th anniversary celebrations.

We don't simply teach students about the world. We ask them to take responsibility for it.

Our Service Learning program connects students with real community needs — locally in Zagreb and globally — developing empathy, civic responsibility, and genuine impact. IB students formally engage with community service through their CAS requirements, ensuring that every diploma graduate leaves AISZ having contributed meaningfully to the world around them.
