Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19)

We remain in contact with the Croatian Ministry of Health and are collaborating with the U.S. Embassy in Croatia and other international schools across Europe. This is a rapidly changing situation; information displayed on this page will be updated regularly as new data is received.

This list will be updated accordingly, based on official recommendations of the Croatian Institute of Public Health (HZJH)

In case of sudden onset of any of flu like symptoms (fever, chills, sore throat, cough, sore muscles, difficulties breathing), do not go out in public anymore and contact immediately - first by phone – your family doctor or a  hospital and refrain from coming to school until you have fully recovered and are no less than 24 hours symptoms free.

Before your trip, contact the embassy or consulate of the country you are traveling to in order to find out about any special measures that may be in place.

  • Regularly wash your hands with water and soap. Please use hand sanitizers where appropriate.
  • Observe etiquette, covering your mouth and nose when coughing and sneezing.
  • Avoid close contact with those who may have the flu or flu-like symptoms.
  • Clean surfaces such as airline tables & trays, seat belt buckles, etc with sanitizer.
  • Follow hygiene advice from reputable authorities such as the WHO.
